Job Description & Summary
Infrastructure Managed Services Team is part of Managed Services Operations in PwC Poland complementing PwCs Capital Projects & Infrastructure Practice offering comprehensive set of services supporting our clients in preparation structuring and implementation of infrastructure projects & investments.
Infrastructure Managed Services encompasses full suite of services focusing on successful delivery of investment projects including infrastructure and construction projects & program management cost controlling risk management schedule management quality controlling & management documents management construction onsite support project controls contract & claim management stakeholders management and other.
Infrastructure Managed Services Team while based in Poland focuses on servicing clients across the whole EMEA region with Poland and Germany being priority markets.
We are looking for:
Specialist in Project Controls for Infrastructure & Construction Projects
Your future role:
- Support our teams and clients in successful delivery of large groundbreaking complex & longterm infrastructure investment projects with effective construction monitoring and management services
- Contribute to successful delivery of client engagements focusing on infrastructure construction management services in the area of overall project controlling
- Assist in project planning coordination cost & budget reporting and schedule monitoring including reviews and updates the project CBS structure
- Contribute to smooth project and thus make a significant contribution to the projects sustainable success through preparation and/or review of project cost and schedule baseline for infrastructure & construction projects
- Provide support the project management team as a key player in ensuring a smooth flow of communication and information between project participants
- Use your knowledge and experience to optimize processes and pay attention to quality assurance risk reduction change management and document management
- Cooperating closely with various teams (incl. risk management schedule management & project management) and stakeholders and ensure that our clients can implement their major construction projects successfully and efficiently in accordance with the project goals
- Support in design and optimization of service delivery model and process flow to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Apply if you have:
- Proficiency in English
- Relevant engineering/financial/economic degree and 35 years of relevant professional experience in controlling of medium and large infrastructure and construction projects or in a comparable controlling environment
- Practical experience in the area of project controlling of infrastructure and construction projects
- Knowledge of commercial planning and control in the area of infrastructure and largescale investments construction
- Awarness of industryspecific software (e.g. RIB iTWO Primavera P6 MS Project) and key relevant MS Office products
- Excellent teamwork communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple highstakes projects simultaneously.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and laws such as the AHO (German Construction Contract Procedures) VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
- Proficiency in German language.
