Job Description
Overview
Element has an opportunity for qualified candidates to fulfill available positions for Fluorescent Penetrant Inspectors (NDT) for Trainee Level I and Level II I/Trainee candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations nondestructive tests and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes standards and specifications
- Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations
- Maintain familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and exercise assigned responsibility for onthejob training and guidance of Level I technicians.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures
- Use caution and proper handling of company property equipment tools and customer product
Skills / Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Technical/mechanical aptitude and computer proficiency preferred
- Written Communication: ability to read and interpret information write legibly take accurate measurements from a tape measure present numerical data effectively and edit work for correct spelling and grammar
- Able to prioritize critical work activities and use time effectively
- Selfmotivated with the ability to problem solve and analyze information skillfully
- Ability to clearly communicate with team members supervisors and all others throughout the organization in a professional manner
