Position Overview
We are hiring a R&D Scientist Intern Cell Therapy. Provide R&D support of projects in product and process development by conducting laboratory research under the guidance of a supervisor.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments in smallscale and tabletop bioreactors
- Prepare media from raw materials
- Analyze data and build statistical models to predict product and/or process performance
- Perform various assays in biology chemistry and/or biochemistry
- Prepare formal reports and presentations for group meetings
- Actively participate in group/project meetings
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
Required Skills/Education
- Must be at least a 2nd year Bachelors student and a returning student for the next semester or higher level education.
- Classes in Biology or Biochemistry required
- Immunology a plus
- Aseptic technique experience a plus
- Ability to use professional concepts to perform assigned work and solve complex problems
- Ability to demonstrate potential for technical proficiency scientific creativity collaboration with others and independent thought
- Understanding of mammalian cell culturing experience a plus
- General knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (scales pH meters etc.
- General knowledge of commonly used experimental/research concepts practices and procedures
- General knowledge of computer systems and productivity software.
- General knowledge of GMP and GLP procedures
Salary and Benefits:
For California the base hourly range for this position is $20 $25. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g. qualifications education prior experience location etc..
