Genesys is looking for a dynamic and creative Sr. Video Creative who brings together expertlevel video editing and motion design skills with solid handson experience in video production. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in postproduction but can also lead and support instudio and onlocation filming. The ideal time split for this role is 70 postproduction and 30 production.
As a key member of the Creative team you will be responsible for crafting highimpact video content through editing motion graphics and animation while also leading small to midsized shoots and contributing to our instudio video capabilities. You will collaborate closely with marketing product and design teams to create a wide range of content including promotional videos webinars demos and socialfirst contentall tailored to drive engagement and elevate the Genesys brand.
What Youll Do
PostProduction 70
Lead editing and motion design work across multiple video projects using Adobe Premiere Pro After Effects Audition and other tools.
Design and integrate motion graphics visual effects and animations that align with brand guidelines and elevate storytelling.
Adapt video content for various platforms including social media web webinars and events.
Maintain quality control ensuring final deliverables are polished onbrand and optimized for performance.
Provide creative input throughout the editing process to ensure each video achieves its strategic and visual goals.
Production 30
Take the lead on instudio shoots managing camera operation lighting setups and sound recording.
Support or direct field productions (occasional travel) ensuring technical excellence in diverse environments.
Set up and break down equipment efficiently troubleshoot technical issues on set and ensure smooth production logistics.
Work with oncamera talent to create a professional and comfortable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing product and creative teams to shape and execute video strategies.
Balance multiple video projects with overlapping deadlines using tools like Asana for project tracking and coordination.
Offer mentorship and feedback to junior creatives and freelancers as needed.
Keep up with emerging trends and tools in video motion design and production technology.
What You Bring
8 years of professional video production and postproduction experience.
A compelling portfolio showcasing both editing/motion design and production expertise.
Deep proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro After Effects Audition Media Encoder).
Experience directing and filming instudio and onlocation with knowledge of lighting camera setups and audio capture.
Strong sense of visual storytelling pacing and narrative structure.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently while collaborating with a broader team.
Bonus Points For
Experience in tech or SaaS environments.
Familiarity with modern cinematography and production gear.
Graphic design skills or visual branding knowledge.
Understanding of how video content supports digital marketing and lead generation.

Compensation:
This role has a marketcompetitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidates experience qualifications skills and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performancebased bonus opportunities.
