Campus Custodian

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking School Custodian to maintain a clean safe and orderly environment for students staff and visitors. The custodian will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining school buildings ensuring facilities meet health and safety standards and assisting with minor repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize classrooms restrooms hallways offices cafeteria and other school areas.
• Sweep mop vacuum and buff floors as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Restock supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet paper in restrooms.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks including replacing light bulbs and minor repairs.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards damages or maintenance issues to the administration.
• Secure school buildings by locking doors and windows after school hours.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture for school events meetings and activities.
• Follow health and safety regulations including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Support the school staff and administration with other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects bend stand and walk for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Fulltime position in a school setting.
• Requires physical activity including lifting bending and standing for long periods.
• Work may include early mornings evenings or weekends depending on school needs.
