Job Description
Location: Estero Florida (Hertz Arena)
Position Title: Marketing Intern
Duration: August 2025 May 2026
Department: Marketing
Reports To: Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and of marketing campaigns to promote home games special events and ticket sales.
- Support the creation of digital and print marketing materials including social media graphics flyers and email newsletters.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement fan engagement activities such as ingame promotions and contests.
- Help manage and update the teams social media platforms with timely and engaging content.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing the Everblades brand presence.
- Assist with tracking and analyzing the performance of marketing initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the marketing team.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program preferably in marketing communications sports management or a related field.
- Strong interest in sports marketing and the entertainment industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms (e.g. Instagram Twitter Facebook).
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays to accommodate the hockey season schedule. A team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
