Our client an international insurance company is looking for a Senior Data Science Actuary to support the Finance and Data solutions team.
He/she will be in charge of the following tasks :
- Serve as the technical lead for the Finance Data Hub providing guidance and direction on data architecture and engineering best practices.
- Design develop and optimize our data architecture to support various accounting initiatives such as financial reporting budgeting forecasting and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including architects BI analysts IT experts and data scientists to deliver integrated data solutions that meet business needs.
- Utilize data automation tools like Wherescape or DBT to streamline data integration processes and improve data quality and consistency.
- Leverage cloud technologies particularly ADP and Snowflake to enhance the scalability and performance of our data infrastructure.
- Implement data vault modelling techniques to ensure data accuracy historical tracking and auditability.
Profil
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on data architecture and optimization.
- Proficiency in data vault modelling and data automation tools such as WhereScape or DBT.
- Strong cloud knowledge with experience in Azure and Snowflake (preferred).
- Solid understanding of data integration ETL processes and data quality management.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- You are allowed to work in the Netherlands or Belgium by being a European Citizen or by having a work permit.
