Job Description
Cherokee Casino South Coffeyville is seeking a Bartender to play a crucial role in providing a positive and enjoyable bar experience for guests. This position involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining a professional and engaging atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to guests.
- Adhere to all alcohol safety standards including checking identification and verifying age.
- Ensure guests are not overserved.
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external guests.
- Adhere to standardized drink recipes.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Stock supplies for the next shift.
- Clean wash and stock all glassware and bar supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience in bartending.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a food handlers card.
- Successful completion of alcohol awareness training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a stateissued alcoholic beverage license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and often demanding environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a casino environment which may include exposure to secondhand smoke and crowd noise.
