Were looking for material differencemakers to join our growing team. Interested Learn more at an Assembler you will workindependently to prepare and assemble components and electromechanical assemblies. You will perform all functions related to the assembly process from picking component inventory through the final assembly of process equipment tooling fixtures and devices.
Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints process instructions schematics mechanical drawings pictures and other diagrams to assemble complex assemblies and subassemblies.
- Inspect test and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications tolerances and customer order requirements.
- Assemble parts or units and position align and fasten units to assemblies subassemblies or frames using hand tools and power tools.
- Position align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Connect cables tubes and wiring according to specifications. Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping.
- Measure parts to determine tolerances using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and verniers.
- Drill tap ream countersink and spotface bolt holes in parts using drill presses and portable power drills. File lap and buff parts to fit using hand and power tools.
- Operate or tend automated assembling equipment such as robotics and fixed automation equipment. Operate small cranes to transport or position large parts.
- Conduct tests and inspections of products or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Monitor gauges dials or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
- Troubleshoot and determine causes of operating errors and course of action to correct.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED and 12 years of related experience are required.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Must be computer literate in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to be handson and get the job done on schedule.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime.
The expected salary range for this position is $35186.00 $44568.30 plus bonus opportunity. When determining your pay we will consider your location experience and other jobrelated factors.
