Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services is seeking a MidLevel NDT Quality Test Specialist for the Quality Team located in Jacksonville Florida.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with nondestructive inspection or test techniques and certification training.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs setup for specialized nondestructive test or measurement equipment.
Develops procedures and processes.
Performs tests or inspections and collects data.
Documents analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations.
Provides feedback on adverse trends.
Responsible for nondestructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products.
Conducts certification preparation training.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance PostStart is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
5 years of experience in NDI (nondestructive inspection) or NDT (nondestructive test)
NAS 410 NDT Level 2 with ASNT Qualifications in a minimum of two of the following NDE disciplines: Magnetic Particle (MT) Liquid Penetrant (PT) Ultrasonic (UT) Radiography (RT) Eddy Current (ET) Infrared Thermography (IRT)
3 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Current Radiation Safety State Card or ASNT IRRSP
3 years of experience with XRay computed tomography and/or digital
3 years of experience using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)
Experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS standard
DR/CR XRay experience and documented training
MAUS experience (Mobile Automated Ultrasonic Scanner) portable cscan system
Gantry CScan experience (AUSS or Matec TTU systems)
F18 experience
P8 experience
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor4 years related work experience 8 years related work experience etc..
