The Traffic Control Field Supervisor provides project management and direction of the efforts which safely direct traffic flow around or through work zones. This includes planning and design efforts scheduling and staffing.
Responsibilities:
Develops an overall Traffic Control Plan for the project.
Monitors pedestrian traffic for potential endangerment and devises for their control (walkways detours etc..
Anticipates vehicular traffic flow and needs (turns heavy traffic or special events).
Oversees/Assist with any temporary traffic device installation.
Manages and directs crew at jobsite.
Enhances safety of crew members by directing the regular and proper usage of PPE.
Instructs crew setups for flagging and traffic direction.
Provides efficient routing directions for vehicular traffic.
Conducts Tailboard Safety Meetings.
Organizes crew schedule for meals and breaks.
Maintains inventory control over items used for traffic control (signage cones etc.. This includes forecasting for future needs.
Communicates situations thoroughly internally and externally with city officials and inspectors.
Drives company vehicles and tows equipment.
Performs Jobsite Safety Analysis.
Monitors crew performance and provides employee evaluations to leadership.
All other duties as required.

Compensation: $70$80K
