Were looking for a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our distributed team across Poland. If youre passionate about building robust scalable systems using modern Java technologies and enjoy working in a remotefriendly environment this could be a great fit.
Youll work on enterprisegrade applications contributing to all phases of development from architecture and design to deployment and monitoring. We value clean code automation and ownership.
Tasks
- Design develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring (Boot).
- Work with distributed systems and eventdriven architectures.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in an agile environment.
- Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
- Stay up to date with modern development trends including tools and frameworks.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Handson experience with Kafka and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of deployment with Helm and CI/CD processes.
- Curious mindset and openness to modern Java features and frameworks (e.g. reactive programming virtual threads).
- Comfortable working independently in a remotefirst setup.
- Fluent in English (B2 level).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Vert.x Loom/virtual threads or similar modern Java paradigms.
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK).
- Previous work in distributed international teams.
