Job Description

Head of Commercial Segment Sales Israel Market

The Head of Commercial Sales will lead SolarEdge s commercial sales strategy in Israel driving business growth developing key partnerships and expanding our market presence. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong sales background in the solar energy or technology sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial and industrial (C&I) solar markets and a track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercial sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market expansion in Israel
  • Lead mentor and manage the commercial sales team to achieve sales targets and business objectives
  • Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders including developers EPCs distributors and large commercial customers in Israel
  • Drive business development efforts to secure new partnerships and opportunities in the commercial solar sector including working with large developers for ground and agri PV projects
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing product management and operations to ensure alignment with business goals
  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and customer needs to inform sales strategies
  • Develop and present highlevel sales forecasts reports and strategic recommendations to senior management
  • Represent SolarEdge at industry events conferences and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and business growth

Requirements :

  • Bachelor s degree in business Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development in the solar or renewable energy industry
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a highgrowth environment while selling value
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills
  • Deep understanding of commercial solar market dynamics financing structures and industry regulations
  • Ability to travel in Israel as needed
