Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects
- Design and layout structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments including the preparation of plans schedules and details
- Design structural systems of primarily coldformed steel framing and structural steel for a variety of healthcare commercial retail multifamily residential industrial and institutional buildings nationwide
- Prepare Structural calculations and design drawings for submittal
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering and five 5 or more years of experience in the structural design of coldformed steel building projects.
- Knowledge of coldformed steel design and light steel framing
- Knowledge of AISI standards for coldformed steel framing projects
- Professional Engineer (P.E. or Structural Engineer (S.E. registration is required
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products; and working knowledge of AutoDesk Revit and AutoCAD programs
- Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs including CFS Designer and RISA
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- This is a remote position must reside in Florida to be considered.
