Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of video production for Netflix content ensuring that projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Collaborate with directors writers and other production staff to develop and refine production outlines and schedules.
- Manage production budgets and resources effectively ensuring projects remain within financial parameters.
- Coordinate between departments including postproduction marketing and distribution to ensure seamless project .
- Monitor industry trends and innovations to keep Netflix at the forefront of video production practices and technologies.
- Ensure compliance with safety and legal guidelines throughout the production process.
- Lead and mentor a team of production staff providing guidance and feedback to enhance skills and performance.
- Attend filming locations and supervise onsite activities as necessary to maintain creative vision and quality control.
Essential Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in video production with a robust portfolio demonstrating a range of completed projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Detailoriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years of experience in video production or related fields.
- Experience managing significant production budgets and timelines.
- Deep understanding of the video production lifecycle including preproduction production and postproduction stages.
- Familiarity with industrystandard video equipment and software as well as emerging production technologies.
