Job Description
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL Permanent FullTime Flex
This position will involve working flexible hours (days evenings weekends and possibly overnights). The schedule will be determined two weeks in advance. The purpose of this position is to backfill vacant/unfilled shifts in the Halton CPS 1 2 3 SIL Programs. Access to a vehicle is a requirement for this position.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Skills Required:
- DSW or SSW or CYS Diploma
- Current/Valid G Drivers License
- Computer Skills: Windows Word Excel Email etc.
Experience Required:
- Behavior supports
- Medical supports
- Community Participation Supports
- Supports to people who have a dual diagnosis
- Supports to people who dont use words to communicate
- Supports to people who experience Autism
Ability Required:
- Current NVCI
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Able to lift 20 lbs.
- Able to perform restraints
- Able to perform CPR
- Able to provide personal care which may include lifting bending and/or twisting
Salary Range: $24.68 $28.88
The successful candidate for this position will be paid according to Schedule A of the SEIU Peel/Halton Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement
