Hours: Variable Hours contract working primarily on Thursdays 10am4pm during term time.
Annual Leave: 30 days prorata inclusive of bank holidays.
Training: Fully paid training is given and further development opportunities are available.
We are looking for people to support learners in an outreach capacity on our fantastic community based learning programme Building Futures around the local Guildford and Woking can watch the video below to find out more about the Building Futures Programme.
You will be responsible for:
Providing highly personcentred 1:1 support to young adults
Helping to promote life skills independence social skills leisure opportunities educational provision and community access.
Reporting actual or potential safeguarding matters to the Project Worker Year Leader Building Futuresmanagement team or Head of Safeguarding without delay.

Excellent communication organisation and problem solving skills.
Due to the physical nature of the programme and communityworking a good level of fitness and stamina is required.
Suitable references.
Aged 18 and above.
Right to work in the UK
Please note we are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
Willing to undertake an EnhancedDBS Check. The initial cost of the DBS application will be paid for by halow.
Please note it is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (Under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable Groups Act 2006 to apply for role that requires them to work unsupervised with that particular group (i.e. adults at risk children or both).
Professional or personal experience of learning disabilities and experience within a health and social care and/or educational setting is desirable but we also pride ourselves on a valuesbased approach and the main skill we are looking for is an ambition to help others.
