Position Overview:
The Senior Analyst Real Estate Investments will support the full investment lifecycle across residential and selfstorage real estate strategies including underwriting due diligence transaction and investor reporting. This is a handson crossfunctional role ideal for candidates looking to deepen their investment experience in a highperforming and fastpaced environment.
Reporting to the VP Real Estate Investments and Acquisitions the Senior Analyst will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to support strategic growth across Forums real estate platforms.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Investment Support & Financial Analysis
Underwrite investment opportunities and assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions and developments.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
Support the preparation of investment committee materials internal memos and investment briefs.
Market Research & Performance Tracking
Conduct market and industry research to support investment decisions.
Monitor and analyze the performance of existing assets within the portfolio.
Maintain comparable transaction databases and support ongoing portfolio valuation work.
Capital Markets & Investor Relations
Assist in preparing materials for joint venture coinvestment and fundraising initiatives.
Contribute to investor presentations quarterly updates and capital markets outreach.
Collaborate with the asset management team to track key metrics and enhance reporting deliverables.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelors degree in Finance Real Estate Economics or a related field.
23 years of experience in real estate private equity investment banking development or capital markets.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
Exposure to institutional capital markets and transaction is a plus.
Knowledge of PBSA and/or selfstorage sectors considered an asset.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team to manage competing priorities.
Willingness to work from the office 5 days per week.
