Youll join McCains Category Management & Trade Marketing team where collaboration creativity and trust are at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with crossfunctional teams across sales marketing and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns and drive growth. Our team thrives on open communication sharing knowledge and supporting each other ensuring that every project is a success.

About the role.

McCain Foods is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern or working student to joinour salesand Trade Marketing team. This position offers the opportunity to support key functions in daytoday operations while managing your own projects in the German and Austrian markets. As an intern or working student youll gain a comprehensive understanding of category management trade marketing and project management.

The duration of the internship or working student role is a minimum of 5 months starting inMarch 2025. This role will be based at our Eschborn office and offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical handson experience in a dynamic global organization.

Key responsibilities:

As a Trade Marketing Intern or Working Student you will:

• Actively support the Category Management & Trade Marketing team in daytoday operations across the German and Austrian markets
• Independently manage and execute promotional activities couponing sales folders samples POS materials and events
• Assist in organizing tastings at the point of sale (POS)
• Collaborate with external agencies service providers and internal sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth project
• Analyze market trends and prepare reports to help inform strategic decisions
• Provide administrative support to the Sales Director and contribute to key projects
• Fluency in German at a professional level is required along with a minimum of B1 proficiency in English

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Economics Business Marketing or a related discipline
• Previous practical experience through internships or working student roles ideally in the consumer goods or marketing industry
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a keen interest in Trade marketing and category management
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Creative and enthusiastic with a proactive independent approach to tasks
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint) and good command of English
• Bonus: Experience with graphic design programs (e.g. Photoshop Canva) is a plus
