Job Summary:

Emersons Test and Measurement Demand Planning Team is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Demand Planner (Level 4 or 5 to join our fastpaced multinational environment in Austin TX! In this role you will work closely with crossfunctional teams across different business units playing a critical role in driving our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to be part of a dynamic team that values precision collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: (add BU demand framework responsibility)

  • Drive the development and implementation of the Business Unit (BU) Demand Framework: Lead all aspects of the endtoend process for capturing forecasting and prioritizing demand within the business unit ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and resource allocation strategies
  • Participate actively in the S&OP process ensuring alignment between demand supply and business strategy.
  • Provide detailed analysis and reports to support decisionmaking highlighting variances trends and forecast accuracy metrics.
  • Collaborate with regional and global customers to harmonize demand planning practices.
  • Act as a key contact point for demand planning within the organization effectively communicating across teams and levels.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement in planning processes and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Industrial Engineering Economics or related field. MBA or Masters preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in demand planning supply chain or forecasting roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple business units in a matrix or complex organizational structure.
  • Proven track record of operating effectively in an S&OPdriven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills; proficiency with MS Office Suite and Power BI
  • Experience with Kinaxis Maestro or other advanced planning tools is a strong advantage.
  • Lean or Six Sigma is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data clearly to stakeholders.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Detailoriented organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
