Sub Agent / Site Manager
Rail Civils Asset Management
Location Warrington North West

Due to continued growth and CP7 contract award in the NW&C region an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sub Agent or Site Manager to join our team in the region working on a portfolio of rail / civil engineering asset management maintenance & renewals projects.
Business Unit
AmcoGiffen is a strategic and collaborative contractor of choice supporting industry leading infrastructure clients on an array of critical maintenance frameworks and capital delivery projects. Workstreams are across various markets including rail highways environmental canals and rivers aviation power electrical vehicle infrastructure and mechanical & electrical engineering.
The North West & Central region possess a strong portfolio of infrastructure projects and framework contracts in rail following recent CP7 contract award as well as a portfolio of nonrail civil engineering works. Works within the region include bridges embankments stations platforms tunnels structural steel installations moving structures etc. The business unit are involved in multidisciplinary civils projects across the region whether infrastructure projects or maintenance works working with a variety of clients and tier 1 contractors.
The Role
As Sub Agent or Site Manager you will be directly responsible for the daily management of rail civils asset management maintenance & renewals works within the regional portfolio of work. Day to day responsibilities would include:
Ensuring that the contract is executed in accordance with the requirements of:
o All applicable legislation
o The Terms and Conditions of the Contract
o The Contract Health and Safety Plan
o The Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets
o The Contract Quality / Environmental Plan
Delivery of the contract within programme and budget.
Liaison with site staff and managing surveyor to ensure tender allowances are not exceeded.
The continuous monitoring of contract progress to ensure contract objectives are being met.
Ensuring that in conjunction with the site team changes to the contract are identified agreed and effectively managed.
The provision of formal reports on contract progress to the Project and Contracts Managers.
Requirements
To excel in this role you will have previous experience as a Sub Agent or Site Manager in a rail and civil engineering maintenance environment.
