Job Summary:
The Recovery Specialist II is responsible for mitigating Wings credit losses ensuring the accurate and timely completion of required documentation managing the Courtesy Pay program working closely with attorneys and providing general administrative support to the Department.
Essential Functions:
- Uphold and serve as subject matter expert of all Federal regulations pertinent to Courtesy Pay (Reg D Reg CC Reg E OFAC SAR Right to Privacy) as well as industry rules (NACHA) and credit union policy.
- Monitor and process Courtesy Pay transactions including account setup communications and terminating privileges as appropriate.
- Develop and complete reporting to monitor the effectiveness of Wings Courtesy Pay program.
- Identify recommend and support Courtesy Pay program and process improvement innovation and automation.
- Identify and support Member Credit Solutions Department processes improvements and innovations.
- Engage with attorneys on legal files ensuring documented communication and submission of required forms and affidavits.
- Process accounts recommended for judgment via conciliation court managing all steps with assistance from internal or external legal counsel.
- Serve as a liaison between the Department and Wings Legal Fraud Intelligence and Compliance Departments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
- 24 years of equivalent experience preferred or a combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of Federal rules and regulations of funds transfers.
- Working knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations for ACH.
- Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and collection software and databases.
- Must have good organizational skills detail oriented with strong emphasis on accuracy is required.
- Excellent multimode communication skills including oral written email and instant messaging.
- Ability and desire to maintain quality of service while performing multiple tasks.
- Good judgment for reviewing accounts to prevent loss to the Credit Union.

Pay Range:$20$24 per hour plus 5 annual target bonus. The estimated hiring range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors including skill set experience location qualifications and other jobrelated reasons.
