Description
We are currently seeking a full time Adaptive Equipment Specialist based out of our Intermediate Care Facility located in Closter NJ.
Spectrum for Living is a notforprofit organization which provides barrierfree residential facilities and day program facilities medical/nursing psychological recreational vocational/educational dietary psychological social and therapeutic services. Respite family support services Adult Training Center and supported employment opportunities are also provided for persons with physical and developmental disabilities.
TheAdaptive Equipment Specialistwill be responsible for performing the duties necessary to support clients independence and mobility including but not limited to the repair and/or maintenance of adaptive equipment used in Spectrum for Living programs.
Qualifications
Valid (NonProbationary) Drivers License (Driving is required)
Strong communication skills
Excellent computer and organizational skills
35 years of maintenance/mechanical experience
Any wheelchair/adaptive equipment experience is a plus
