Job Description

Franklin Pierce University a NCAA Division 2 member of the Northeast 10 Conference is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Softball. The selected applicant will receive a tuition waiver along with a $4000 stipend per semester. This position is renewable for the next academic year conditional upon satisfactory performance and adherence to all academic requirements and employment protocols.

The Graduate Assistant will provide support to the head coach in the areas of coaching operations recruiting and fundraising. Firsthand experience will be provided in all aspects of a successful college softball program.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily practice/game plans conduct onfield coaching
  • Assist in coordinating prospective studentathlete visits
  • Assist in evaluating and recruiting/retaining prospective studentathletes throughout the country
  • Assist with travel coordination meals logistics etc.
  • Plan and conduct camps and clinics
  • Monitor academic progress of studentathletes
  • Perform various administrative jobrelated activities as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred
  • Proficiency in softball
  • Knowledge of NCAA DII rules and regulations
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
