The Bostonoffice of SmithGroupis looking for aOffice Internto join our team.
Working with us you will:
Work in a collaborative team environment.
Be a first point of contact for visiting guests vendors and staff.
Assure continual coverage of phones during normal business hours.
Provide administrative support including editing and formatting documents.
Assist with coordination and setup of meetings and conferences ordering food for meetings and cleaning up conference rooms/kitchen.
Assist with distribution of mail.
Maintain the reception guide access lists and conference room schedule.
Keep front office area clean and organized.
Assist with cataloging and organization of materials library supply and file storage.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the leadership team.
An ideal candidate has:
High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge and interest in Architecture and Engineering design and the built environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to represent SmithGroup to clients and visitors.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a great customer service attitude.
The ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment as well as work independently.
Word Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
This is a fully in person position at our office in the Seaport neighborhood of Boston.

SmithGroup promotes a healthy work/life balance for our staff as well as hybrid work options that give interns the flexibility to work within our vibrant office culture or remotely as needed. The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $15.00 to $19.00 per hour at the time of posting. You are eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a work week. Our 12week summer internships are held between MayAugust. The deadline to apply is April 25th; however we encourage you to apply early as the position may be filled prior to the deadline.
