Job Description
Idaho Forest Group is looking for an experienced heavy equipment operator for our log yard in Moyie Springs. Join a team where you can make a difference!
CAREER GROWTH OPPORTUNITY FOR PRODUCTION OPERATORS LOCATED IN MOYIE SPRINGS ID. PAY STRUCTURE STARTING AT $27.46/hr DOE. ALL FULL TIME EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR FULL BENEFITS INCLUDING; MEDICAL DENTAL VISION SHORT TERM DISABILTIY AND 401K W/ 5 COMPANY MATCH!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Sort logs by criteria (length diameter species etc. while meeting company standards.
- Load and unload logs from trucks and mill.
- Working knowledge of log species for sorting feeding and storage of logs.
- Operate Log Yard rolling stock.
- Follow all safety protocols and report hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
EDUCATION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to quickly obtain one as a condition of employment)
- Valid Drivers License is highly preferred
- Must be able to work various shifts days and overtime as requested
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Move safely quickly and perform duties with repetitious movement. Sit and/or stand for shift reach with hands and arms stoop squat twist push and pull maintain balance bend at the waist kneel walk varying distances and climb stairs. Must be able to tolerate all weather elements loud conditions vibrations and airborne particles (sawdust).
PREEMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
