The Opportunity:

Red River Coop is seeking a Commercial Fuel Sales Manager to join and lead our dynamic team at our Redonda St. office in Winnipeg.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic manager to drive the transformation of our Commercial Fuel Sales Division. This role will be responsible for strengthening customer relationships expanding sales optimizing operational efficiencies and developing market growth strategies

Reporting to the VicePresident Energy Operations the responsibilities for this position include the following:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both existing and potential customers to drive fuel sales through Commercial Sales Bulk Delivery and Cardlock channels.
  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance satisfaction loyalty and longterm engagement.
  • Proactively engage with clients to ensure seamless service address concerns and foster trust in the coops offerings.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to penetrate new commercial markets and expand the coops presence.
  • Conduct indepth market analysis to identify industry trends competitive positioning and potential areas for diversification.
  • Leverage datadriven insights to make informed decisions about business development competitive advantages and longterm growth opportunities.
  • Execute strategic sales initiatives designed to boost revenue and enhance overall business performance.
  • Monitor industry trends customer behaviors and competitor strategies to refine and optimize sales tactics.
  • Leverage our strong culture while leading a group of 2 direct reports as well as 8 indirect reports.

You are an accomplished professional with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business growth. Your ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships coupled with your analytical skills makes you an exceptional fit for this position.

  • Proven track record in sales management particularly in the commercial fuel or related industries
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and engage with customers
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams motivating staff and managing crossfunctional relationships
  • Skilled at understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions to drive satisfaction and loyalty
  • Ability to navigate a dynamic market environment and seize new opportunities proactively.
  • Natural affinity of welcoming our members to the coop
  • Strong understanding of computer applications especially Microsoft Office
  • A firm yet friendly and sociable personality
  • An ability to work well with others
