Great Beginnings Yanchepis offeringan exceptional candidate anAssistant Educator role within our funloving supportive team. You will be a passionate dedicated professional who strives to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.
This role is parttime position working 22.5 hours per week.
Working days are Wednesday Thursday and Friday
Hours are 8.45am4.45pm
This is a maxterm contract ending in March 2026 with a strong possibility of extension!
About Us
Great Beginnings Yanchep offers long day care and kindergarten for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years from 6.30am6.30pm.

About You
- You will hold an ACECQA approved DiplomaQualification in Childrens Services
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 05 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities (art music movement outdoor play)
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
- Observe assess and communicate childrens progress and needs
- Maintain a clean and organized room
- Ensure childrens safety and wellbeing at all times

Our Requirements
- Hold a Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and care (working towards their Diploma or equivalent)
- An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 05 years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
