AN EXCITING CHANCE TO JOIN THE W VERBIER TEAM
We are looking for our Rock Star as Executive Chef.
You will report directly to the B&F Manager. You will lead a central kitchen for 2 to 4 Venues IRD Banquets with a team of 10 to 30 talents depending on the season. You will play a key role in the success of our outlets. The culinary worlds of Switzerland Spain and Japan hold no secrets for you. A true star on the ground you love interacting with an international clientele. You are the heart of the brand you bring it to life. Creator of Whatever/Whenever moments through your dishes you provide a unique and unforgettable experience for our group or leisure clients.
Within our central kitchen to ensure the production of 5star hotelworthy dishes using highquality ingredients you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Integrating training supervising and coordinating the kitchen and stewarding teams in a positive work atmosphere.
Ensuring the quality of the culinary services provided their compliance with technical sheets and customer satisfaction.
Optimizing raw material costs.
Contributing to the definition and achievement of the restaurant departments objectives.
Managing all expenses related to the smooth running of the kitchen.
Supervising and controlling monthly inventories.
Ensuring proper application of hygiene and safety standards in all kitchens.
Bringing restaurant concepts to life and maintaining the current identity of the outlets.
Being creative and staying updated with trends.
Showing flexibility and adaptability based on activity levels and demand.
Respecting and enforcing Marriott procedures.
PROFILE
At least 5 years of successful experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality; ideally in a resort.
Experience in pastry would be a plus.
Excellent technical knowledge and product expertise.
HACCP expert.
Strong organizational and supervisory skills speed of and attention to procedure details.
Impeccable presentation and strong customer relations.
Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays.
Fluent in French and English. Knowledge of Spanish would be a plus.
Strong leadership and good communication skills.
Team spirit organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Be detail oriented and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.
