The Capacity Support Specialist is responsible for dispatching truckloads through our extensive base of existing carriers and work to develop those relationships while establishing new ones as well. The role is both an outbound and inbound focused role where the CSS will be primarily responsible for rate negotiation and sales support. The CSS will workclosely with Management Sales and Account Managers to provide rockstar customer service to our loyal customers. The CSS will engage with accounts via telephone email and other onlinemediums. The CSS will provide direction and recommendations to management toincrease efficiencies structure and strategy of the department ensuring individual and team success.
This position will report directly with a Capacity Manager (CM)
Requirements
- Has a strong background in sales support and customer service
- Outbound and inbound calling experience
- Ability to negotiate rates with carriers with company provided analytics
