Job Title: Data Engineer
Company: Evolution Money
Location: Manchester City Centre. Hybrid working pattern is available with 3 days per week minimum onsite.
Job Type: Fulltime
Basic Salary: 57500 pa

You will be supporting and working alongside our teams to visualise the potential of the data and how it can be used effectively.
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data Team. You will have a background in data warehousing implementation alongside a track record of business intelligence to join our team reporting to our Lead Data Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Defining and building data warehouse and reporting solutions
- A natural desire to continue developing skills and helping customers to modernise their systems as appropriate.
- High level documentation to be interpreted and understood by technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Explain technical concepts and the underlying principles to solutions during customer engagements.
- Prioritise and effectively manage your time.
Qualifications (minimum):
- Excellent understanding of the SQL Server architecture.
- Excellent understanding of TSQL queries stored procedures userdefined functions views indexes and developer code associated with the database.
- Good analytical & problemsolving skills identifying root causes and offering solutions.
- Azure azure DevOps SQL platform TSQL PowerBI MySQL ComosDB
- Awareness of Data Architecture or modern data platforms
- Experience with data storage technologies such as data lakes data warehouse and traditional SQL data bases.
- Data warehousing
- Azure Data Lake
- Data Modelling 3NF star schema etc)
- Complex Data integration pipelines with varied types and sources of data (direct integration API based ftp transfer)
Qualifications (desirable)
- Azure Data Bricks
- Azure Synapse
- PowerShell scripting experience.
- Crystal Reporting
- Alternative Databases (PostgreSQL MongoDB)
- Google Analytics BigQuery
- Python
- SAS
