CGI Calgary is searching for a PVR Application Support Consultant to join our Energy Solutions team. PVR (Production Volume Reporting) is a comprehensive flexible and scalable field data capture system that streamlines and automates the entire production volume reporting life cycle. As a member on the PVR Production Support team you will be working with a team of business analysts developers and subject matter experts supporting PVR clients as well as performing quality assurance testing on development features and fixes. Communication and organizational skills are key to providing value added services to our customers. This position has very strong potential for career growth within CGI; the ideal candidate will be motivated and have a desire to grow and develop new skills.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The candidate will handle daytoday support for our PVR clients provide resolutions and escalate as necessary
Perform analysis of clients issues being able to independently handle complex issues
Respond to user support requests by monitoring Jira Service Desk and the Support Mailbox triaging issues and communicating with clients as required
Perform QA testing for new features software fixes and prioritized JIRAs
Review Release notes and provide feedback to technical writers
Contribute to content for monthly User Group meetings
Creating documentation as required
Participate in development meetings with PVR team to review and assist with new development related to PVR business requirements
Implementation of new properties and new clients
Conducting internal and external demo presentations
Create and deliver training materials to clients
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Documenting processes and fixes
Sharing knowledge

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

3 years of PVR or comparable field data capture system experience
5 years field data capture experience including experience troubleshooting field data capture system issues and/or experience with implementations
A strong knowledge of the Oil & Gas domain
5 years of experience in positions requiring analysis documentation and client interaction
Experience working in service desk support
Experience working in an Agile Development environment
Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills
Postsecondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
Client Focused strong communication and relationship management skills
Strong Microsoft Office Excel PowerPoint and Word skills
