Job Description
The Milton Early Childhood Program seeks a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator or Early Childhood Special Educator to join our inclusive and childcentered program. The ideal candidate is someone who is committed to fostering the social emotional and academic growth of all children within a coplanning and coteaching model. Start date: August 18 ideal candidate is someone who:
- Is committed to fostering the social emotional and academic growth of young children; Demonstrates an understanding of the Vermont Early Learning Standards and Teaching Strategies Gold assessment;Demonstrates proficiency in coplanning and coteaching developmentally appropriate curriculum that is aligned with the Vermont Early Learning Standards; Provides individualized support to children including those with developmental delays disabilities and special needs in alignment with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs);Collaborates closely with families colleagues and service providers to ensure optimal support for children;Maintains a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes the development of socialemotional skills problemsolving and independence;Monitors and assesses childrens progress and uses data to inform instruction and compliance with Vermont Agency of Education criteria and Vermont Child Care Licensing a commitment to supporting equity diversity and family engagement.
