Job Description
As a Fountain Worker you will be responsible for excellent customer service ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Position: FullTime
Location: Gold Strike Casino Tunica MS
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take and place orders and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area as applicable.
Collect money while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
Maintain the cleanliness sanitation and appearance of the front and back of house clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
Pack and complete orders as per guests preference with any necessary condiments.
Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization stocking and replenishing products as needed in workstation counters tables etc.
Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management and notify the supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events circumstances missing items or alleged theft.
Perform other jobrelated duties as requested.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- One 1 year of experience as a food handler in a similar highvolume fastpaced restaurant.
- One 1 year of experience of guest service experience.
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of menu items including mixing and serving beverages standard beverage recipes preparation methods glassware garnishes products menu items supplies and equipment.
- Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment including but not limited to toasters refrigerators coolers slicers and beverage machines.
- Knowledge of health safety and sanitation regulations.
- Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Able to handle multiple types of information and/or perform multiple tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills as well as interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This role includes frequent standing and bending.
- Constant walking reaching balancing and grasping items.
- Lifting carrying and pushing up to 80 lbs.
