Job Description
General Education High focuses on K12powered virtual high schools with 912 programs offering core comprehensive credit recovery honors and Advanced Placement online courses and a wide variety of electives. Responsible for relationship building with families students and learning coaches to ensures that all students are progressing successfully through the program. Bachelors degree 01 year of related professional experienceCertificates and Licenses: Appropriate current Missouri High School Music Certification OR state specific teaching license OR proof of application.
Residency Requirement:
The High School Music Teacher is a highly qualified state certified educator responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment predominantly High School Music. Teachers provide instruction support and guidance manage the learning process and focus on students individual needs. Teachers monitor student progress through K12s learning management system. They actively work closely with students and parents/Learning Coaches to advance each students learning toward established goals. Teachers typically work from home but must travel occasionally throughout the year to various school functions such as state testing or as otherwise required by the school.

This is a fulltime remote position. Ability to work independently typically 40 hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday typically 95 (or 84 or as defined by the school.
