Veterinary Surgeon Mimram Veterinary Centre in Welwyn Hertfordshire
We are an RCVS accredited small animal first opinion practice in the heart of old Welwyn village and we are seeking another Vet.
No OOHs limited Saturday mornings & a 4day working week!
About us:
Mimram Veterinary Centre is in a beautiful part of Hertfordshire. The practice itself has an intriguing history it has previously been a butchers police station & offices. We have since created a modern proactive practice ready to serve our loyal clientele that has been wellestablished since we opened in 1999. As well as RCVS accreditation we also have IFSMs Silver Cat Friendly Status.
We are a 5 vet practice 4FTE) with a highly supportive and talented nursing team to support (who are encouraged to utilise their skills fully).
The Role:
The position is ideally a fulltime 40hour week. This will be across 4 days. Saturday mornings are currently only 1:5 (Not more than 1:4 Parttime would be considered for the right candidate.
The role consists of a mix of consults and surgeries of our varied first opinion caseload with time rotad in to help you keep on top of the allimportant admin. We pride ourselves on providing high standards of care to our clients as well as excellent customer service.
Our routine appointments last 15 minutes 30 minutes for complex cases) with several 30minute open on the day appointments for emergencies and urgent cases throughout the day.
Confidence with routine procedures and consultations is preferred although we would consider a new graduate in which case the Saturday mornings would initially be 1:3 so that there is no sole charge moving up to a shared rota once confident.
