JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Domestic Logistics Analyst you will be responsible for overseeing the performance and relationship management of an external Logistics Service Provider(s) (LSP). Ensuring seamless coordination between BIC and the LSP while driving high service levels efficiency costeffectiveness initiatives through an endtoend supply chain operations model.
You will ensure all logistics policies programs and assignments are carried out effectively to attain the desired results in transportation management. Development and utilization of our suite of metrics include: operational efficiency cost service levels supply chain visibility all while collaborating and communicating and intiatives around compliance sustainability innovation and continuous improvement as well as contractual performance adherence.
What Youll Do:
Strategic Planning and
Align LSP operations with the companys supply chain strategy and business goals.
Collaborate with the LSP to optimize logistics processes reduce costs and enhance service levels.
Participate in capacity planning forecasting and budgeting processes.
Performance Monitoring
Monitor the LSPs adherence to all KPIs including but not limited to; ontime delivery order accuracy cost efficiency and customer satisfaction etc.
Conduct regular performance reviews with the LSP to evaluate progress and address gaps.
Develop and implement corrective actions for any underperformance issues.
Data and Technology Integration
Ensure seamless integration between the companys systems and the LSPs technology platform.
Use data analytics to provide actionable insights for improving logistics performance.
Drive adoption of advanced tools (e.g. IoT AI blockchain) for supply chain visibility and efficiency.
Financial Oversight
Oversee cost structures and ensure the LSP operates within budgetary constraints.
Track savings achieved through LSP initiatives and identify additional cost optimization opportunities.
Approve and validate invoices from the LSP against agreed terms.
Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and the LSP.
Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders.
Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs) contracts and terms of engagement with the LSPs.
What Youll Need:
B.S. Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
48years of relevant experience in supply chain management logistics includingexperience with Logistics Service Provider or 3PL operations and contract management
Preferred experience in the CPG industry
Preferred demonstrable Lean/Six Sigma experience
Selfstarter with excellent project management and leadership skills
Ability to collaborate and communicate across all areas of the business and with external partners
A strong sense of urgency and ability to strategize solutions under deadline pressure
Comfort in senior level business reviews
