The Maintenance Supervisor will manage the optimization and improvement of mechanical electrical and instrumentation systems at the Hanover plant. This person will maintain systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; troubleshooting restoring repairing rebuilding or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts. Provide supervision and direction to Maintenance Mechanic.
Provides daily assignments coaching and counseling to Maintenance Team members. Responsible for time keeping and vacation requests for staff.
Manages performance and supports development of direct reports
Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews.
Contributes to capital projects strategic goals and continuous improvement objectives. Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results.
Evaluates functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments; identifying problems and requirements.
Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring repairing rebuilding or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
Focus on Continuous Education by reading articles publications technical bulletins and contractor specific information.
