Core Responsibilities and Standards
- Uphold and embody the companys core purpose values and ethical standards with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Stay current on changes in tax laws regulations and trends in wealth management and financial planning ensuring our approaches remain both innovative and practical.
Client Service and Wealth Management
- Build and maintain strong trusted relationships with highnetworth clients gaining a deep understanding of their financial goals and needs.
- Participate in client reviews offering customized strategic tax and financial planning advice to address both current and future objectives.
- Work closely with the wealth management team to recommend strategies for tax optimization investment planning retirement planning and wealth preservation integrating innovative ideas where appropriate.
- Ensure tax planning aligns seamlessly with broader financial strategies to deliver cohesive clientcentered results.
Tax Compliance and Financial Planning
- Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with accuracy and compliance ensuring they support clients longterm financial goals.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to optimize client outcomes and position them for sustained success.
- Research and interpret complex tax regulations to identify opportunities that reflect our commitment to forwardthinking solutions.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Collaborate with the CEO/Founder COO and wealth management team to advance the firms vision bringing both innovation and practical expertise to our efforts.
- Lead Continuing Education (CE) training for CPAs and attorneys sharing advanced tax and financial planning strategies that demonstrate our forwardthinking approach.
- Present at firm learning events to educate clients and partners on evolving trends and strategies in tax and wealth management.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and contribute to process improvements that keep us at the forefront of the industry.
Marketing and Business Development
- Participate in the design and of key marketing initiatives and activities to highlight the firms expertise in innovative tax and wealth management services.
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting with exposure to wealth management or financial planning highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations as well as wealth management principles with an ability to apply both innovative and practical approaches.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software financial planning tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills with a clientfirst mindset and a readiness to embrace forwardthinking challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with wealth management professionals and thrive in a dynamic resultsoriented environment.
