Mission and responsibilities:
- Definition and certification of accounting schemas for Assets Liabilities Payments and/or Payments Methods Credit Cards Debit Cards Prepaid Cards) products related to new Core Banking systems and new businesses related to our international growth strategy.
- Analysis definition implementation and validation of controls needed to ensure the correct accounting end to end behavior of the Openbanks Cores.
- Design and validate new control tools linked to the accounting control (queries reports dashboards etc..
- Define and implement procedures to execute and report the results of the control model.
- Guarantee the accounting control during migration and coexistences between our current and future Cores.
- Ensure control model and its efficiency once in production.
- BAUs monitorization/ continues search for efficiency.
To be successful in the role you must have
- Bachelors/Masters Degree related to Business Administration or Engineering.
- Advanced English and Spanish. International working experience would be an asset.
- More than 7 years of proven experience in operations and/or accounting control preferably in the banking sector
- Proven knowledge and experience regarding any of the banking retail products/services (Loans Current Accounts Saving Accounts Deposits Payments Credit Cards Debit Cards Prepaid Cards). We are Operations not Finance Department it is needed to understand the accounting flows related to these products/services.
- Experience creating accounting controls within the banking sector.
- Team spirit great organizational and communication skills.
- Proactive used to work in dynamic environments and tight deadlines with multitasking skills great adaptation skills and interest in learning and gaining new abilities.
- Motivated by and interested in innovation and technology advances in banking sector.
- It would be an asset to know: T24 JIRA Confluence Partenn Microstrategy Clarity or other reconciliations tools.
- SQL or experience in working with data bases would be an asset.
