Opportunity
Were looking for a passionate and dedicated Media Manager to join our team fulltime onsite. In this role youll manage our Media team creating and executing social media campaigns that drive engagement and action. Youll be responsible for publishing original content improving brand awareness and building an interactive social media community. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under tight deadlines as youll handle a high volume of content across multiple platforms.
About Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary
Dog Tales is a worldrenowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields rolling hills and wooded areas in King City Ontario. Our picturesque location complete with kilometers of walking trails therapy pools and a grooming spa is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. Along with medical care our team provides all of the love attention and training that our rescue animals need to recover from their difficult pasts so that they can move on to permanent loving homes which most do. For the rest Dog Tales is home for as long as they need it to be.

The Role
As the Media Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the Media team and leading social media campaigns that inspire action and engagement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and leading a team of specialists artists videographers and photographers.
- Overseeing creation and scheduling with the Media team to ensure content is on time and up to standard across platforms like Facebook Instagram TikTok and more.
- Organizing and planning photoshoots to capture compelling content.
- Managing and monitoring social media channels to ensure followers are engaged and responses are timely.
- Analyzing the performance of campaigns and adjusting strategies to improve results.
- Creating a social media plan and calendar to drive awareness and interaction.
- Managing our online shop and sourcing items.
- Planning and leading Open House adoption volunteer staff and fundraising events.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure content is accurate and relevant.
- Conducting daily and weekly meetings with the Media team.

- A degree or experience in Marketing Communications or a related field.
- 3 years of experience managing a social media team.
- Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and analytics.
- A creative mindset with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule
Due to the nature of our industry weekend availability is required. The schedule is 5 days a week from 8am5pm.
