The Role
As Staff Engineer you will work closely with engineering product and business teams to align technical and business strategies. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Advocate for best practices in software development security and system reliability. The Staff Engineer is expected to be a force multiplier elevating the overall engineering effectiveness of the company while driving critical technical initiatives
Is this role right for you In this role you will:
Contribute to complex system designs and implementations providing architectural guidance and reviews
Guide and mentor engineers at various levels
Design and implement systems that scale with business growth
Ensure software reliability observability and operational efficiency
Participate in roadmap planning and longterm technical vision
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:
University or College degree in Computer Science or Engineering
7 years of software development experience (conceptualization design development and debugging) with at least 2 years providing handson architectural design for software applications
Sound technical knowledge in:
Java J2EE
Spring Boot (Micro Services)
Web Services (REST & SOAP)
Angular 2 Java Script Junit HTML XSL XML
You have knowledge on secure coding authentication authorization and compliance
You have experience with cloud providers containers and DevOps practices
You have experience optimizing code and infrastructure as well as logging and monitoring.
