You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits team at Mercer. This role will be based in Montreal. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant III you will lead complex client engagements and manage overall service delivery strategy and financial evaluations while driving the development of innovative benefits solutions.
We will count on you to:
Lead complex client engagements managing overall service delivery strategy financial evaluations plan design renewal and benchmarking studies.
Develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies addressing complex client issues with innovative tools and solutions.
Determine the full scope of services provided to clients and set roles/responsibilities within the client team.
Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects.
Generate sales by expanding revenues from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients.
Set strategic direction and create demand for new products/services in the marketplace leading successful regional or national marketing initiatives.
Leverage the companys size and reputation to negotiate highly competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors.
Delegate effectively to provide developmental opportunities to team members while mentoring and coaching direct reports and project team members.
What you need to have:
Proven experience in managing complex client engagements in health and benefits consulting.
Strong financial acumen and experience in financial evaluations and plan design.
Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to leverage company resources to achieve competitive advantages.
Demonstrated ability to generate sales and expand client relationships.

Advanced degree in a related field or relevant professional certifications (e.g. CEBS GBA).
Experience in leading marketing initiatives and creating demand for new products/services.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
