Were looking for a passionate and strategic Chief Development Officer (CDO) to take our fundraising and donor engagement efforts to new heights. As a key member of our executive leadership team youll shape the future of our organization by building relationships that fund transformative change. What Youll Do:

Drive Fundraising Strategy

  • Lead the creation and of a robust development strategy across major gifts corporate sponsorships grants planned giving and special events.
  • Set and exceed annual fundraising goals that fuel our programs and initiatives.
  • Innovate new fundraising streams and donor engagement approaches.

Cultivate Donor Relationships

  • Build deep authentic relationships with individuals foundations corporations and public funders.
  • Design and execute engagement plans for highnetworth donors and champions.
  • Oversee stewardship strategies and ensure all contributions are recognized and celebrated.

Lead Grant Writing & Management

  • Oversee the full grant lifecycle: research writing submission reporting and compliance.
  • Maintain clear effective communication with current and prospective funders.

Inspire and Manage a HighPerforming Team

  • Recruit train and lead a passionate development team.
  • Work closely with the Board and CEO to expand fundraising capacity and culture.

Elevate Marketing & Donor Communications

  • Partner with communications to deliver powerful storytelling and campaigns.
  • Amplify digital fundraising and social engagement efforts.
  • Represent the organization at key events and in the community.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred (nonprofit management business communications or related field)
  • 7 years of progressive nonprofit development experience
  • Proven success securing major gifts corporate sponsorships and grants
  • Strong leadership team development and strategic planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Experience with donor management systems (e.g. Salesforce Raisers Edge)
