Job Title: Test Engineer (Data)
Company: Evolution Money
Location: Manchester City Centre. Hybrid working pattern available minimum 3 days per week onsite.
Job Type: Fulltime
Basic Salary: 45000

The Role:
Evolution Money is giving you the chance to work with new cuttingedge technology maintaining your competitive advantage.
Our vision is to achieve the most effective approach to testing software and instilling quality into our tech stack in an agile environment. You will be supporting and working alongside developers to design and develop test cases and execute these cases manually and using automation.
We are looking for a Test Engineer with a proven background in automation testing in an agile environment to join our team reporting to our Lead Data Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Test all areas of products including functional business requirements performance security and accessibility.
- Work with the engineers to deliver consistent solutions and strategies sharing knowledge insight and best practice.
- Improve the current ways of working and identify the right tooling to drive innovation and improvement of our testing and our products.
- Grow your experience of building automated test solutions and your familiarity with industry standard automated testing tools.
- Define test plans prepare test data and execute test case and report outcomes
- Assist in building automation test solutions that help to assure the quality of our products and services.
Qualifications (minimum):
- Agile Methodologies and an understanding of the key principles to develop modern standards approach to testing.
- Experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Methodology and tools. (i.e. GIT Azure DevOps).
- An understanding of the following test phases and standards associated to Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) Performance Test Accessibility Test Security Test and Compatibility Test.
- Experience of API Testing cloudbased REST service.
- Experience of working in a complex multidisciplinary environment delivering products within specific timescales and engaging with multiple senior stakeholders.
