Job Posting Summary:
This fulltime exempt position operates on a 12month schedule and is responsible for organizing and coordinating sports leagues camps and assisting with the coordination of all auxiliary programs at Ensworth. We are seeking an Auxiliary Program Coordinator and Associate Director of Sports Leagues & Camps who embodies Ensworths vision: a school community dedicated to following the highest principles with the greatest love as characterized by moral integrity intellectual vitality discipline compassion humor and joy. Reporting to the Director of Auxiliary Programs this position will work closely with both the auxiliary programs staff and athletic coaches. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend hours required.

Auxiliary Programs Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Director of Athletics to oversee Leagues summer and other auxiliary programs ensuring alignment with the schools mission
- Expand and oversees facility rentals ensuring the coordination of schedules and receipt of rental payments
- Assist with program and staff scheduling logistics student registration payment processing and vendor management.
- Support aftercare on a regular basis
- Utilize various software applications for student registration family communication and facility scheduling
- Support the Director of Auxiliary Programs in administering all auxiliary programs
- Encourage a teamoriented atmosphere through positive supervisory methods effective communication and constructive interactions with others
- Assists with daily summer duties
- Manage registration for programs in CampBrain
- Work closely with Communications in updating website
- Provide high quality customer service to Ensworth Families including answering phones and emails within 48 hours
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Auxiliary Programs
Associate Director of Leagues and Camp Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Director of Athletics to promote and expand interest in leagues with a strong focus on growing basketball soccer and baseball programs.
- Organize and communicate weekly game schedules for basketball leagues
- Build relationships with current parents outside parents youth coaches
- Ensure clear and timely communication with parents and coaches to keep them informed engaged and supported.
- Organize and coordinate practice space for teams at both Frist and Red Gables campuses
- Work with current Ensworth parents to organize teams when needed
- Secure officials as needed
- Recruit and organize student workers as needed for concessions scorekeeping and general support of leagues with emphasis on basketball soccer and baseball leagues
- Secure league monitors for both campuses and communicate/delegate game day operations to these individuals
- Help Interview hire and train summer staff including reaching out to staff eligible for rehire
- Manage human resources for leagues
- Ensure website information is updated and accurate
- Collaborate with the Admissions Office and the Athletic Director to attract studentathletes to our admission pool
Qualifications/Experience:
- Must have a Bachelors degree; sports management and/or recreation administration specialties preferred
- Relevant experience caring for children ages four through fourteen in a professional setting (e.g. teaching childcare etc.
- Advanced understanding and ability to use computers and technology including Microsoft Windows and Office products basic office equipment and electronic registration systems (e.g. CampBrain)
- Welldeveloped interpersonal written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with all constituents in a school environment including all ages of students coworkers parents alumnae volunteers and the public
- Adaptability honesty selfreliance teamwork dependability flexibility willingness to listen and learn work ethic determination persistence problemsolving skills loyalty and congeniality are essential
- Must successfully complete background screening and verification
- Continued Education Programs (as required by Grade Level and/or position) Periodically participate in different training sessions identified by you the employee and/or Divisional Leadership/Supervisor with the goal of keeping our teachers and staff up to date with current teaching methods practices and any new knowledge in their respective field. Depending on the program such training may need to take place outside of normal working hours and/or in the summer months.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Regularly works in standard classroom conditions and regularly works outdoors (i.e. playground) in varying weather conditions and climate
- Regularly uses close and distance vision; works at a computer screen for extended periods of time; ability to observe students from various distances
- Regularly required to move around the classroom; works at a desk for intermediate periods of time; occasionally positions oneself to work with small children on the floor; frequently moves around campus
- Ability to occasionally move items weighing up to 30 lbs. across the campus/classroom
- Works in a highly stressful environment effectively dealing with a wide variety of challenges activities and a varied and diverse array of contacts; stamina to maintain a calm demeanor and attention to detail despite interruptions
- Ability to work flexible hours to support special events
- Ensworth requires employees to be physically present on campus with limited exceptions that are at the sole discretion of the School. Under extraordinary circumstances some or all of the workforce may be required to move to a remote working environment. Additionally certain individuals may also be approved for limited remote work based on the nature of the job description specific circumstances and only with written prior approval by a direct supervisor.
