Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team within the facade sector.
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for cost control and management throughout the project lifecycle. This is a vital role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost estimates and prepare budgets for construction projects
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine quantities of materials required
- Source and obtain competitive prices for materials and equipment
- Prepare and submit accurate cost reports final accounts and payments
- Monitor project costs and identify areas of potential savings or cost overruns
- Price variations
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role in the construction industry
- Knowledge ofFacades Curtain Walling or Glazingsector added bonus
- Proficient in using relevant software for quantity takeoff and cost estimation
- Familiarity with construction contracts specifications and drawings
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
