Job Description
Provide technical support across Digital Farming and related product lines
Create system schematics and designs using AutoCAD
Assist with installation commissioning and testing of DF systems and beta sites
Assemble and wire control panels dosing units radio units and protection devices
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and provide telephonic or onsite support across South Africa and SADC
Deliver training to dealers and endusers on DF equipment
Support servicing related systems such as filter banks and control units
Report to the DF Technical Manager with support duties to the DF Product Manager as needed
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 35 years of relevant technical experience in electrical/electronic/mechatronic systems
Strong time management and interpersonal skills
Selfstarter with solid problemsolving abilities
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor is advantageous
Experience working with:
ELV electrical systems
VSD / PLC systems
Computer hardware and diagnostics
Hydraulics and flow dynamics
Qualification:
BTech or Degree in Electrical Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering
Must be a qualified electrician
Valid drivers license
Valid passport (required for travel within South Africa and SADC countries
