Job Description:
Alcon is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing developing and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex Visualforce and Lightning Web Components.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Foster crossfunctional collaboration to ensure comprehensive solutions.
- Uphold code quality standards and Salesforce best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce development.
- Strong expertise in Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components and Salesforce integration.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Excellent problemsolving and criticalthinking skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II).
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
