Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customerfocused Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The Commercial Lines CSR will play a key role in providing excellent service to our commercial insurance clients. This individual will be responsible for handling inquiries processing policy changes and assisting clients with their insurance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial insurance clients addressing inquiries and providing information regarding policies and coverage.
  • Process policy changes including endorsements certificates of insurance and renewals accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the sales and underwriting teams to ensure seamless customer experience and provide support as needed.
  • Assist clients with claims processing and followup ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and crossselling additional products or coverages.
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and documentation adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
  • Uphold a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building strong longlasting client relationships.
  • Stay informed about industry trends market changes and insurance products to better serve clients and contribute to the success of the team.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or industry certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role ideally within the insurance industry or related field.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively interact with diverse clientele.
  • Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software including insurancespecific platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and regulations is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team demonstrating flexibility and a positive solutionoriented attitude.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
